It’s always worth looking into ideas for keeping your Bible reading fresh. One thing I like to try is reading a different Bible version. In this post I’ll share which versions I cycle through and why it’s worth a try.

1 Peter 1:10-12 clearly tell us the value of our Old Testaments: “(the prophets) were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit…”But what can we do if we’re keen to get into it but find it hard in practice?
While we stand in grace, God also calls us to walk with him, grow, change and mature. To help us he gives us his Spirit, his word and his people. To grow we must listen to him, pray and follow through with actions. Continue reading “What I’m hoping for this blog”
